German author and professor of history of literature. He was born in 1884 and died in 1963. Nadler was one of the central figures in the scholarship of the literature of Germanic peoples in Central and eastern Europe. "Nadler's edition of his writings, Johann Georg Hamann: Werke, 6 vol.
